Kayacool’s regular ACA teaching bases are Shanghai and Langkawi, Malaysia. Courses run at these two places on an ongoing basis. Other cities or waterways can be arranged by invitation, subject to coach availability, kit and local conditions. The meeting point for each intake is confirmed in that course notice.
Shanghai is one of our regular sites. We keep a full equipment supply here, which suits skills courses, assessments and sessions that need several boats and paddles. It is convenient for local classes, extra practice, and shore or nearshore modules.
Langkawi is our best regular venue for ocean paddling instruction and experience: tide, wind and coastal water sit closer to what ACA coastal kayak courses require, so land drills can be practised in real sea conditions.
Other locations
Besides Shanghai and Langkawi, if your city has suitable water, or a group wants the course at a chosen site, you can invite us to teach there. Whether it goes ahead depends on the coaching calendar, local safety and moving kit. We will confirm a feasible level and day structure afterwards — we do not invent a fixed timetable here.
